Il Casino di Donna Maria is a well-preserved historical estate dating back to the late 18th century. In the past this elegant estate, owned by the noble La Terza family from Mormanno, was attended by its members that used to spend their summer holidays there. Our B&B is surrounded by the luxuriant countryside of ‘Parco nazionale del Pollino’ (Pollino National Park), a few minutes away from the village centre and around 3 km from the nearest motorway exit. Located at the ground floor, the main living space includes a large brickwork kitchen and a welcoming hall both equipped with large fireplaces. Completely restored in 2015, the estate is surrounded by huge green areas, a century old grape pergola, a solarium with a small pool and a large free parking area. Although equipped with all modern comforts, Il Casino preserves its own story, a few traces of its elegant past and its interior spaces, evoking a romantic atmosphere.
